Religious values are deeply personal and unique to each client. Director of Research Travis Korte explains how Ethic offers customized solutions for investors.

by Travis Korte

We know that a religion is not a one-size-fits-all experience. That’s why we don’t offer a one-size-fits-all religious values strategy. Through our Values Mapping Exercise (or VME), we take a structured approach to understanding what matters to each client and tailoring strategies that reflect their unique values. We hope our approach provides a more personal and meaningful approach to religious values investing than other products on the market.

Director of Research Travis Korte breaks down our team’s approach to crafting portfolios that reflect our clients’ religious beliefs. Check out these key points from Travis’s video:

  • Religious Investing Is Not One-Size-Fits-All
Most off-the-shelf religious investment products take a generalized approach. We aim to go  beyond the checklist to build a portfolio that reflects the whole person.
  • Values Mapping Enables Personalization
We utilize our proprietary Values Mapping Exercise (VME), a structured experience that helps clients translate their unique religious convictions and broader priorities into a personalized, values-aligned strategy.
  • Reflecting a Whole Identity
Our approach is about building portfolios that represent the full spectrum of a client’s identity—not only religious doctrine but also related values, like an interest in the environment, health and wellness, or education. It's about honoring the client’s faith and their individuality.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
