What can sustainable investors learn from the recent freeze in Texas?

Over the past couple weeks we've seen uncharacteristically cold weather in Texas have massively damaging effects on the state's infrastructure and environment, resulting in a crisis for millions of people that live there.

This is what climate change looks like. Extreme weather events become more frequent, and when met by infrastructure designed for a historical climate, we see a cascade of failures that are almost impossible to predict. Infrastructure needs to look forward to a new climate reality, much like sustainable investors do when choosing investments ready for what the future holds, not stuck in the past.
